India-South Africa has completed a meaningful bilateral relationship for 30 years. Both nations have been the other’s staunchest supporters and closest allies in fostering reciprocal growth.
India is South Africa’s second-largest trading partner in Asia. According to the Indian Ministry of Commerce, since diplomatic ties were established in 1993, economic interactions have increased from $10 million in 2015–16 to $17 million in 2021–22.
